Our project management service takes care of all planning, coordinating, and overseeing every aspect of the design project from conception to completion.
CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
Construction drawings will provide precise instructions for builders, contractors, and craftsmen to implement the design accurately. These drawings facilitate a smooth and organised construction process, contributing to the successful realisation of the envisioned interior space.
FURNITURE STYLING & PROCUREMENT
The process of furniture procurement typically begins with a detailed assessment of the space we are working with, taking into account the spatial requirements, style preferences, and intended functionality.
BAIS will work closely with you to curate a selection of furniture that compliments your home.
LIGHTING DESIGN & LAYOUT
BAIS can illustrate the layout of ceiling elements, including lighting fixtures, ventilation systems, and ceiling details.
FULL INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICE
The turn key experience – everything from the initial design, through to construction drawings, engaging any trades, placing the orders and managing the logistics of deliveries, as well as managing the timeline and budget. At BAIS, this can also include finishing the project with accessories and styling items.
OUR PROCESS
STAGE 1
INITIAL MEETING, BRIEF AND DISCOVERY
We start by engaging in an initial meeting where our primary focus is on getting to know you – understanding your lifestyle, preferences, and aspirations for your space.
STAGE 2
SITE MEASURE
Once we are engaged on the project, a site visit is conducted in order to establish the existing conditions and take measurements.
STAGE 3
CONCEPT DESIGN
We prepare a consolidated concept package with the key design ideas for the interior. This stage provides you with a visual direction for the overall look and feel of the space utilising a mix of imagery, sketches and finishes.
STAGE 4
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Once the concept is approved, we develop drawings and selection of finishes & fixtures which is workshopped between you and the team at BAIS.
STAGE 5
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION
A full set of interior construction drawings are developed for the project to be built. A comprehensive finishes, fittings & equipment schedule is finalised and issued along with the drawing package.
STAGE 6
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
Once contractors are approved & appointed, we provide assistance through the construction process to ensure the design outcome is achieved. We liaise with trades, review joinery drawings (shop drawings) and respond to queries as required. We schedule regular site visits and can additionally visit at your request.
